Adjusting Active Noise Cancellation and Social Mode

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) reduces outside noise so you can focus on your music.
Social Mode passes outside sound through the microphones in each earbud back into your NuraLoop so you can hear conversations and the world around you.

TouchDial options

You can assign Social Mode to either of the Dial commands through the Nura app. Doing so will allow you to Dial between Social Mode and full Active Noise Cancelling.

You can additionally assign Social Mode to the Tap function on either side by customizing the Tap functions within the Nura app. Doing so will simply toggle between the current state and Social Mode being activated.

To adjust your NuraLoop's ANC and Social Mode:

Tap the Social Mode button on the bottom left of the Nura app.

On the TouchDials
Either move the dial on the app clockwise and anticlockwise, or, scroll your finger around the left TouchDial to adjust between Active Noise Cancelling and Social Mode.

Turning ANC off/ on

  1. Open the Nura app with your NuraLoop connected via Bluetooth to your device.

  2. Tap on the Menu icon at the top left.

  3. Tap on Device Settings.

  4. Scroll down to Enable Social Mode & ANC (Active Noise Cancellation),

  5. Tap on the setting to toggle it on or off.

Having issues with using Social mode or Active Noise Cancellation?

Please try resetting your NuraLoop.
